The Amoskeag Sound, from Manchester , NH , is one of the performance groups sponsored by the Muchachos Inc., who also sponsor the Muchachos Drum & Bugle Corps.

The Amoskeag Sound is a member of MCA (Mini Corps Associates)

The corps was formed with several ideas in mind:

1. To provide more performance opportunities for members of the Muchachos.

2. To provide more challenging repertoire and offer a competitive opportunity for Muchachos.

3. To provide opportunities for drum corps alumni who have some playing left in them but perhaps cannot march due to physical limitations.
